Health and Safety is our Number One priority in the business, everyday, for everyone, everywhere. It means doing everything we can to keep ourselves, our colleagues and customers safe at all times. We are also highly committed to responsibly manage the impact of our business on the environment.

Our aim is to ensure an incident-free culture of safety so that everyone in our care returns home from work safe and well at the end of every day. At the same time, we also want to establish a safety culture where our people instinctively take individual and collective responsibility for their own safety and that of those around them, and act accordingly.

The company recognizes that good health and safety management contributes to business performance by preserving and developing human physical resources, by controlling costs and liabilities and as a means of expressing corporate responsibility.

To achieve this we have developed policies and a framework which, supported by comprehensive communications and training, is designed to ensure that processes and practice within each of our operating units fully comply with local legislation as the minimum requirement, and also Compass Group’s global HSE standards.
